Don’t think of the coming year as the year when the world will come to an end, because this year will be full of bright, interesting events which will just blow your mind. And it all will happen due to the fact thatHelsinkiwas chosen the World Design Capital 2012! Our Northern neighbour has already started to actively promote the upcoming event. The project presentation held inSt. Petersburgwas organized with the help of Promaco marketing agency.
In the mid-October a special reception ‘Open Helsinki’ gathered citizens of St. Petersburg, journalists and representatives of different companies to celebrateHelsinki’s new title. Promaco organized and held a press briefing where the journalists could speak with Pekka Timonen who directs the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 project. This gala reception is only the beginning of a lot of other interesting events and Promaco will help to give coverage to all of them.

Neste Oil in movie theaters
This spring the gas station chain Neste changed its name to Neste Oil. Promaco marketing agency helped to announce this event. To develop the campaign, which has started in spring, Promaco shoot a video spot.
When the lights go out at the movie theater, the controller shuts the entrance door, the last people slide to their seats and you hear the popcorn popping – a trailer to a new fantasy movie comes out on the screen… According to the script, THEY have come from the North and now are living among us, we have become used to them… but THEY began to change. What to do?
You can relax, at the end of the trailer it’s clear that the story is not about scary aliens or monsters, it’s about the rebranding. And it means that everything is going to change for the best!

Mysterious world of Holiday Club Saimaa
Holiday Club opens its new resort in a magical place where a fairy tale comes to life and Promaco marketing agency helps to promote this resort. The promotion of Holiday Club Saimaa associates with a mysterious magical world. Promaco organized a press tour to this fairy place so that the journalists could enjoy the picturesque scenes and feel its enchanting atmosphere. The posters and magazine advertisements were also designed in this style. Soon other creative ideas for promotion of Holiday Club Saimaa will be brought to life.

Sokos Hotel and Ded Moroz
Ded Moroz in summer – is not a fairy tale, it is foresight! The Finnish hotel chain Sokos Hotel and Promaco marketing agency appealed to businessmen to mend their sails while the weather is fine. This time the sails stand for conference halls.
In august2011 areminder appeared in 25 business centers of the two capitals, which said that it was high time to plan staff training courses and book conference halls in one of the Sokos Hotels inSt. Petersburgfor the future events. Real Ded Morozes and Snegurochkas took part in the photo shoot which was held as part of the campaign.
Businessmen also recieved letters with the same message so that they didn’t forget the lesson.
